"The Ice is turning your paws numb,as your nostrils become stuffy."

The cold ice feel from the ashy clouds above.Desarc the young middle aged wolf he was about 2 years of age,when he stumbled upon this frozen death trap he called a forest.His light orange eyes glimmered as he stared into his reflection.Death seemed to be following him close behind,he was already feeling a small hinto fo frost bite on his paws."What am I going to do."He spoke to himself ,his ears pulled back resting against his skull,his body twitched,his muscles were begining to pound in pain.How much more could he stand ,first the death of his past pack,the raids the killing,they were all implanted in his mind like a fresh memory.

He closed his eyes tight ,but qucikly shook his head trying to stay awake,his ears flickered up as the sound of wings brushed past his hearing,he looked towards two black crows pecking at a frozen squirrel along the ground. "Food?"Desarc thought,and rose to his tired limbs,walking over towards the birds,the spread there dark ebony wings and took flight among the tree's."Haha Wolf,your a dead sack of meat walking about if you think you can survive in this terrain."The crow mocked Desarc with his words."Hush your beak you damn bird before I snatch you up in my jaw's and have you for dinner."Desarc snapped at the birds,but only heard them crow louder in histarical laughter.Desarc clamped his maw around the squirrel ,and travled forward.

It had been almost an hour walking around the deep forest,the ice covered all the ground ,the tall tree's seemed to trick his mind and confuse him.The squirrel he could not even eat that,it was to frozen to even chew.He was becoming dizzy,he stumbled against a tall tree the bark scrapping off as his medium sized body fell against the tree.His eyes were becoming fuzzy ,he began to panic as he collapsed into the snow.He continued to rise to his feet ,not knowing a small cliff infront of him,he feel downward as he tried one more time to rise,his body tumbled down along the small cliff ,the snow lifting up into the air .The large wolf was like a doll spiraling down the mountains side,he soon came to a stop blacking out.
